Girona Foothills
Speakeasy Zone

Cycling
These roads are training grounds for the many professional road bike teams headquartered in Girona. The dirt roads are home to the world-famous Traka gravel race attracting riders from over 75 countries each year. We ride a sneaky combination of the two, keeping our options wide open.

Cuisine
This is the land of centuries-old stone masias, many of which have been restored to their former glory and converted into gourmet restaurants. They feature the finest seafood from the nearby coastal ports and the freshest produce, meats, poultry and cheeses from the Girona hinterland.

Culture
The foothills offer abundant evidence of the region's importance as a former industrial powerhouse. But factories are now civic centers and theaters. Railways are now greenways, all seemingly transformed for us. And the city of Girona boasts one of the best preserved medieval quarters in Europe.

Base Camp: Masia Can Dansa
Masia Can Dansa is a favorite for groups who want to feel completely at home in a space that offers indoor comfort and outdoor recreation right outside their own front door. Can Dansa is literally in the middle of 6 of the finest rides in the area, and guests love the ability to create their own daily breakfast and dinner experiences if they choose. The masia is located 15 minutes from the city of Girona's amazing sights and eateries, and the Costa Brava is just 25 minutes away by car.

"The ride for lunch on the beachfront at S'Agarò stands out as the highlight, although your homemade paella at the masia on our final night deserves major kudos. Probably the best I've ever had? Or maybe it was just the afterglow of an amazing adventure in Girona. Totally unique from all the trips we've done. And we've done many!"
